LICAU was born with a clear intention: to give visibility to contemporary urban artists and explore new ways of understanding urban art within the current market.
We're not just a gallery. We are a creative ecosystem where art, hospitality and community coexist in the same space.
We want art to leave the traditional circuits and be part of the daily experience: travelers, conversations, coffee in hand and exhibitions that transform the space.
In these early years we bet on a small group of artists with whom we work closely and strategically, developing their careers in the medium and long term.
Our commitment is to accompany them professionally, project them in specialized circuits and take their work to art fairs outside the city.
For this we have created LICAU Projection, our development program and presence in national and international fairs.
At the same time, we promote LICAU Conexión, an exchange and marketing network with other galleries, which allows to generate circulation of work, curatorial collaboration and new market opportunities.
In addition, we are committed to the international dimension through LICAU Urban Residency, a residency program for artists outside Spain, in private or subsidized mode, in collaboration with Eco Hostel, Street Art Café and local artistic companies.
These residences make Granada a global meeting point where creation, cultural exchange and city dialogue directly.
